Hiking the trails of Plitvice Lakes

Today we head for the Upper Lakes. It's quite chilly and I am layered-up well. We cover a lot of territory following different paths and once again heading up the high trails. Every turn brings a new vista. It's trite to say this, but there really are no words to properly describe the majesty of Plitvice Lakes Park.

We run into the mid-morning crowd again and it feels as if we are walking the wrong way on a one-way walkway. 

Whew! We're well exercised. Time to head to our next port of call; the seaside town of Zadar.
